Integrated equipment

The integrated equipment from ChaleurR mainly includes the following four categories: ILC (Immersion Liquid Cooling), CDU (Cooling Distribution Unit ), RDHx (Rear Door Heat Exchanger), and Chiller.

A. ILC: Immersion liquid cooling is a typical direct contact liquid cooling method where electronic devices are immersed in cooling liquid. The generated heat is directly transferred to the cooling liquid, relying on the circulation of the liquid for heat conduction.

B. CDU: This system enables more dense, efficient, and precise liquid cooling, including primary (heat dissipation) and secondary (cooling) sides. It integrates key components such as pumps, reservoirs, power supplies, control boards, and heat exchangers, as well as management components like filters, flow meters, pressure sensors, and others.

C. RDHx: Specifically designed for dense server environments, RDHx is a cooling solution that uses a heat exchanger installed on the back of server racks to remove heat from the exhaust air of IT equipment. The cooled air is then recirculated back into the data center, reducing the demand for traditional Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units.

D. Chiller: A type of water cooling equipment that provides constant temperature, flow, and pressure. The principle involves using a chiller refrigeration system to cool the water in the internal tank. The chilled water is then pumped by an internal water pump into the equipment that needs cooling. The chilled water absorbs the heat from the internal components of the machine, and the high-temperature hot water is circulated back to the tank for cooling. This cycle ensures effective cooling for the equipment.

Simulation Service

By leveraging simulation and digital twinning, ChaleurR aims to enhance the overall performance, efficiency, and resilience of data centers, contributing to optimal resource utilization and improved management practices:

  1. Performance Optimization: Simulation helps the data center understand its current performance, including server utilization, network traffic, power consumption, and other aspects. By applying different configuration strategies, it can identify the optimal performance optimization solutions, enhancing the efficiency of the data center.
  2. Capacity Planning: Simulating performance under different load conditions aids in planning the data center’s capacity. It helps predict future demands and ensures the data center can operate efficiently under varying workloads.
  3. Energy Efficiency: Simulation can assess the data center’s energy efficiency, including the energy consumption of servers, cooling systems, and other devices. By simulating different energy management strategies, it can identify methods to reduce energy costs and environmental impact.
  4. BreakDown Analysis: Simulation is used to model various faults and disaster scenarios to evaluate the data center’s resilience and recovery capabilities. This helps formulate effective emergency plans and improves the reliability of the data center.
  5. Comprehensive Utilization: Simulating the utilization of various resources in the data center, such as servers, storage, and network devices, enables IDC to better understand resource usage. This facilitates more effective resource allocation and planning.
